News

NOV. 2012 POSITIONS AVAILABLE at CBS in Montpellier (France). Are you looking for a PhD or a postdoc position in single molecule biophysics? Interested in contributing and learning at the interface between optics, nanofabrication, molecular and cellular biology? Then contact me.
Funding from the ERC starting grant.

OCT. 2012 I moved to CBS (Centre de Biochimie Structurale) a CNRS/INSERM lab in Monptellier (France), in the group of single molecule biophysics, as Chargé de Recherche (CR1) within the CNRS.

Dec. 2011. Optics Express has accepted our paper "Calibration of the Optical Torque Wrench", F. Pedaci*, Z. Huang*, M. van Oene, and N.H. Dekker (*=equal contribution).

May 2011. The paper "Freely Orbiting Magnetic Tweezers To Directly Monitor Changes in the Twist of Nucleic Acids" by J. Lipfert*, M. Wiggin*, J.W.J. Kerssemakers, F. Pedaci, and N.H. Dekker (*=equal contribution) has been published in Nature Communications.

Jan. 2011. Our paper "Electron Beam Fabrication of Birefringent Microcylinders" has been accepted for publication in ACS Nano.

Oct. 2010. Good news: our paper on the excitability of birefringent particles trapped in the Optical Torque Wrench has been accepted for publication in Nature Physics. (Here)
